On this platform we wish to publish texts which express gay and lesbian themes. Gay@LitNet is one of only a few e-journals which specifically focus on South African gay and lesbian literature in the global arena. We embrace the whole spectrum of experiences: gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual and queer. Heterosexual perspectives are not excluded, as literary texts are not necessarily dependent on sexual preference. We want to publish high-quality texts – both literary and popular – which are able to compete with international queer literature. Contributions in any of the eleven official languages, as well as translations, will be considered. Send contributions to gay@litnet.co.za. Erotic literature will also be considered, although such texts will be published on LêNet.
