The National Eisteddfod Academy (NEA) is a non-profit organisation that creates opportunities for youth development in the arts. This is achieved through no-limitation participation in eisteddfod and related events where young performers are exposed to the magic of the performing arts. The funding received from the Lotto Trust enables the NEA to broaden participation in eisteddfod activities by providing arts training to teachers from previously disadvantaged communities and to identify and expose talented learners from these communities through the DiKonokono Festival developmental project of the NEA.
